Journalist, television reporter, columnist and style expert, when it comes to fashion Sheree Mutton knows her stuff. The Reebonz team was lucky enough to catch up with the extremely busy fashionista and recently appointed Online Editor  for Australian Women’s Weekly to pick her brains on style, beauty and of course handbag essentials…

1. Best style tip… Dress for your body type. It’s not about following all the trends, particularly if they don’t suit you. Getting dressed every day becomes so much easier and a whole lot more fun when you understand what pieces work best for your shape.

2. Describe your style… Sophisticated, classic and elegant. I like wearing structured jackets and dresses with statement jewellery; and mixing high-end designers with more affordable pieces.

3. Who/ what is your biggest style influence? It would have to be Audrey Hepburn. She was the epitome of chic. I also really like the clean, tailored look Victoria Beckham always seems to pull off.

4. Favourite fashion designer and why? I love Mary Katrantzou because of her beautiful prints and sharp silhouettes. Another favourite is Dion Lee for his impeccable tailoring and high-quality fabrics; and Badgley Mischka and Balmain.

5. If money were no object what would your next fashion purchase be? A beautiful red lace couture gown by Oscar de la Renta, Marchesa or Valentino, paired with a Judith Leiber clutch and Christian Louboutin Heels.

6. 5 beauty products you cannot live without… Livinia Naturals mineral bronzer, Simple hydrating light moisturiser, Revlon Fabulash mascara and red nail polish; and Vaseline Aloe Vera lotion.

7. Best style advice for a girl on a budget? Look for vintage/classic pieces at markets and op-shops. Wait for sales – there are plenty of warehouse and online sales on; and raid your mum’s old wardrobe – you never know what’s in there!

8. What are your splurge and save areas and why? Invest in the bigger pieces like a statement handbag, great high-heels and a structured jacket. Buy lots of affordable staple accessories that you can mix up such as scarves and hats. It will make your outfit look totally different.

9. Something every girl should have in her wardrobe is… A classic, neutral trench coat. You can wear it anywhere and style it so many ways!
